Payroll Specialist - Tampa, FL
Tampa based Professional Employer Organization (PEO) is seeking qualified payroll specialist to join their growing Team. The successful candidate must work well in a fast paced, high energy, growth environment and have strong organization skills and attention to detail. This position reports to the Payroll Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Manage and guarantee weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll to client employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws
-Respond to client questions and requests for information
-Process payroll for multiple states
-Maintain and build positive client relationships
Requirements
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Working knowledge and experience of payroll tax at the federal, state and local levels
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to work on many projects and/or tasks simultaneously
-Software: SUMMIT Experience Preferred
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Take charge, get it done mentality
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
