DEPARTMENT:
Pharmacy REPORTS TO:
Director, Pharmacy Operations
Essential Functions:
Supervises a team of up to 15 pharmacy technicians.
Ensures team associates meet departmental goals of compliance, productivity, and quality.
Ensures associates apply departmental policies and procedures, clinical criteria justifications, and defined roles and responsibilities to prior authorization/coverage determination decisions and/or during inbound or outbound phone calls.
Presents medication reviews at the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meetings.
Develops departmental workflow processes to increase efficiency and quality.
Develops departmental policies and procedures in conjunction with all state, federal, and contractual requirements.
Performs special projects as assigned.

Qualifications Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
A Pharm D preferred.
Experience:
3
years of experience as a certified pharmacist with exposure to managed care.
Licenses/Certifications:
FL licensed pharmacist without limitations or limitations on scope of practice.
Special Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to evaluate information from both oral and written sources and develops clear, concise and crisp reports.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
Ability to evaluate financially the impact of drug products.
Technical Skills/Requirements:
Ability to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
