Business Analyst- Contract Duration:
Initially 6 months, could go longer who have an established career around Business Analysis.
We are looking for expert level use case writing skills.
We are NOT looking for someone who is primarily a PM or SQA Analyst who has had some experience as a BA.
Job Description:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working with the business operations, store systems, and application development teams to facilitate project discovery, elicit requirements, and support the application through the development life cycle and into steady state.
Responsibilities :
Elicit and document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed:
use cases, user stories, mockups, business rules, workflows.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work-related experience with a minimum education requirement of HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Experience on full life-cycle projects desired Experience as a Business Analyst on a Business Intelligence team/project.
(Our client uses MicroStrategy but any BI technology is acceptable).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and SMEs Ability to articulate design concepts and solutions verbally and in written documentation Experience working with a structured methodology such as RUP or agile software development process Ability to work independently with minimal direction, experience managing small teams preferred Strong categorization/information organization skills Must be able to work well in fast-paced, dynamic environments Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
