Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse
ROLES AND
Responsibilities:
Review new patient information physicians Coordinate scheduling of ancillary studies Answer patient or family telephone calls, obtain appropriate initial information Review information with physician and return calls as instructed Prepare and update patient charts prior to a clinic visit (obtain vital signs) Obtain urine specimens, perform and record dipstick test of urine Obtain lab results from reference labs, record in patient charts and discuss abnormalities with physician Assist with prescription and refill ordering Arrange scheduling of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and obtain authorization for the procedure Coordinate and assist with hospital admissions, renal biopsies and outpatient infusions Additional duties as directed REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Hold current LPN/LVN license with 1
years of related work experience Knowledge of HIPPAA regulations Strong computer, communication and organizational skills Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred HOW TO APPLY:
