KCL is seeking a Social Media Specialist with a strong background in managing the strategy and execution of day-to-day posting for a brand on Instagram to drive engagement and growth.
This is a remote position providing coverage during business hours during the week and one weekend day.
For this full-time, remote position, KCL will currently consider applicants who reside in the following states:
Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
Reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager of Growth, this role will require you to be competitive, creative and agile.

This Social Media Specialist role at KCL is kinda like that, but instead of cheers, we're driving clicks to and shares of our content, to achieve this, you'll be analyzing the data daily - examining what went well yesterday, how you're performing compared to larger benchmarks, and closely monitoring the competitive and adjacent landscape.

In this role you will:
Assist in driving short and long-term social media strategy on Instagram.
Engage and build KCL's Instagram audience.
Contribute to daily online content promotion plans, including content and channel selection, and copy and creative recommendations.
Collaborate with the growth marketing team to evaluate personal and team effectiveness in order to maximize your contribution to company goals.
Execute promotion for both rapid-turnaround and longer campaign cycles to effectively promote all types of content, primarily deals and editorial content.
Produce engaging social media posts, focusing on strong copy and creative combinations; adopt new creative strategies to drive engagement and post performance.
Ensure a consistent brand (voice and visual voice) across all reader touch-points while also delivering targeted results.
Analyze past-performance and real-time dashboards to determine promotional and optimization opportunities and promptly communicate observations to the marketing team.
Be accountable for promotional content performance; leverage data to make informed decisions around daily content and creative choices to ensure that goals are being met.
Keep a pulse on industry and competitor trends, look for ways to continuously elevate our efforts.
Contribute to and manage ongoing testing efforts to refine marketing strategies.
