Whether you pop in for a studio class or stay for a series Sketch will inspire you to dream, play & create.
CURRENTLY HIRING INSTRUCTORS FOR:
Sketch summer camp dates (AM & PM camps all weeks):
June 19 June 26 July 10 July 17 July 24 July 31 Camps run 9-12 (age 6-9) and/or 1:
30-4:
30 (age 10-15) Monday through Friday and are a maximum of 12 students.
Working hours are 30 minutes before & after camp.
Rate of pay is $20-$25 per hour.
Teachers will also be paid for prep time and curriculum planning.
Candidates must have teaching experience, some camps require fine art experience.
Ideal candidate is a full time teacher who is looking for a part time summer job.
Candidates can work only morning or only afternoon camps or full days.
Candidates must commit to a minimum of three weeks throughout the summer.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and managing classroom/studio space.
Giving one on one technique demonstrations to children at different levels and different areas.
Communicating creative plans with owners of the studio.
Updating parents of the student's artistic progress on a regular basis.
Handling some administrative duties regarding recruitment, open house and art exhibitions.
Sketch invites applications for part-time instructors in the area of Studio Art:
A qualified candidate for this position will possess:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an art or education related field.
Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in the subject area or ability to obtain a certificate upon employment.
A minimum of 1 year teaching Art classes.
Experience creating art class curriculums.
Qualified candidates should must also successfully complete a Level II background screening.
(at their own expense) Has painting/drawing experience.
Enjoy working with enthusiastic school age children and engage with parents and other instructors.
