Tampa, FL Tampa, FL Full-time Full-time $45,000 - $75,000 a year $45,000 - $75,000 a year Our Tampa based personal injury law firm, MattLaw, is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our team and assist with our plaintiff's personal injury litigation cases.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and litigation, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal support to the personal injury attorneys and other paralegal staff Draft and file legal documents, including motions and discovery requests Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial preparation Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Manage case files, including organizing and maintaining case documents, calendars, and deadlines Other duties as assigned by senior staff Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience 3
years of experience as a plaintiff's personal injury litigation paralegal Knowledge of personal injury law and litigation procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases Ability to work independently and as part of a team We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and a dynamic and supportive work environment.
