We are seeking a full-time Solar Production Manager to join our team at ACDC Solar, based in Tampa, Florida.
We are particularly interested in individuals who are fluent in English and Spanish is a plus Role Details:
You will be instrumental in driving forward our green energy projects, bringing substantial knowledge of solar installation practices to the table.
You will be expected to schedule jobs for solar installers, ensure customer satisfaction, and comply with all OSHA standards.
Job responsibilities also include ordering materials for solar jobs, ensuring delivery on-site per schedule, and comparing job BOM vs plan set.
Your role will require you to understand plan sets and the materials required for each job.
You will manage solar projects for both commercial and residential properties, maintain communication with clients about ongoing work, and manage crews to ensure timely completion of projects.
In addition, you will be expected to attend monthly safety meetings, develop relationships with vendors.
Other duties include documenting job progress in the relevant database and managing surveyors and their reports.
Required
Qualifications:
Two years of a Solar PV experience, computer skills, and reporting abilities.
A valid driver's license is required, as well as manual dexterity and physical stamina.
The ability to work outside for extended periods and manage several projects simultaneously is essential.
Experience and extensive knowledge of solar installation practices is a must, and Spanish fluency is a plus.
Working Hours & Compensation:
This position typically operates from 7 am to 5 pm, with occasional tasks outside of normal working hours, especially during the busy construction season.
Pay will depend on experience.
Benefits:
After one year of employment, you will be entitled to one week of paid leave.
