This candidate must be dependable, responsible, enthusiastic with a passion for working with children.
We're seeking professionals who are capable of providing the best educational experience possible because we believe that our teachers are our future.
This person must have a valid teaching license or be willing to complete the certification course and process to become licensed as an early childhood teacher.
The teacher candidate must have a strong singing voice, speak both Spanish and English and play a musical instrument at a basic level ( i.
e.
guitar or ukulele).
Responsibilities:
Meet with parents and guardians to discuss child's progress.
Create a safe learning environment and communicate child's progress to parents, guardians, and the community at large.
Encourage social and behavioral norms that are appropriate to the child's age and development.
Be a positive role model for the child, his or her parents, guardians, and peers.
Provide ongoing opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's education.
Recognize that children have unique personalities, abilities, gifts, and challenges.
Ensure children are provided with opportunities to learn through play, observation, interaction with others, and participation in a wide range of activities.
Create a classroom environment that promotes individual growth.
