However, if you do not have legal experience, but are a professional person with a good head on your shoulders and can think on your feet, we may consider training the right person for the position.

First and foremost, you will be the first line of defense answering the telephone.
It is especially important to get the spelling of clients' names correct, take down there phone number, get their email address, and in the case of new clients find out who referred them.
We will teach you how to handle clients who want to schedule a new case consultation with the attorney, what questions to ask, etc.
Full-Time, In-Office position Minimum 1 years' office experience; would prefer some experience in family law Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
We will teach you our case management software which is Mycase Strong organizational skills and detail oriented Ability to meet deadlines Willing to learn e-filing portal and JAWS Excellent interpersonal skills Family law can be challenging for our clients and there is often no right or wrong answer.
You will need to be creative, organized and efficient to do your job well We will teach you how to track your time for work you do on files contemporaneously You should treat a case at 4:
30 pm on Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning at 9am Our clients are dealing with massive stress and anxiety.
You should be empathetic and help put them at ease.
