Downtown Tampa immigration law firm seeks a friendly and organized Legal Receptionist to join our team.
In this role, you will answer and redirect phone calls when necessary, greet clients and other visitors at the office when they arrive, schedule client appointments, and take accurate messages for attorneys and other staff.
Daily, you will sort and distribute mail, organize client files, serve as interpreter for Spanish speaking clients, and assist lawyers and legal assistants with other administrative duties.
Legal experience is a plus but not required as candidate will be trained.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and emails Respond to or forward client questions to appropriate staff members Greet clients and visitors in a friendly manner and determine the reason for their visit Contact clients to schedule appointments with attorneys and other staff Sort and distribute mail Organize files
Qualifications:
Candidate MUST be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Candidate MUST demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English and Formal Spanish, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary Candidate must be proactive, self-motivated, a team member, highly customer service oriented, a hard worker and a quick learner Candidate must be extremely organized and detail oriented Candidate must have the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks while maintaining strong time management skills and while working under aggressive deadlines Excellent research, written and oral communication skills are required After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, we offer benefits.
Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:
30 AM to 5 PM.
However, if extra work is needed to meet a deadline, we want someone who is perceptive to the office and other team member's needs and willing to put in that extra effort.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
