Business Development Manager - Independent - (IT Staffing)
Job DescriptionAbout the jobBusiness Development Manager - Independent Skiltrek is currently hiring Independent Business Development Managers (IBDM's) to target new markets in the US.
Skiltrek has been serving SME and government clients nationwide for 20
years in IT/Technical staffing.
This position marks a new chapter in Skiltrek's history as we look to scale into new markets in this post-Covid era.
We desire to capitalize on a hot market, the new remote world of work, and our talented Virtual Recruiting Center.
This IBDM will operate as an Independent Sales Rep and will report directly to the VP Operations.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous staffing experience, and a desire to maintain a connection with the staffing industry.
Everyone's personal situation is unique.
This may be the IBDM's primary source of income, or it may be set up as an alternative/secondary source of income.
Flexibility is the key and Skiltrek's leadership is open to discussing what works best for each individual.
Essential Duties:
Sell Skiltrek's IT Staffing Services into new accounts in a mutually agreed upon target market.
Execute IT Staffing business with excellence following Skiltrek's Standard Operating Procedures, i.
e.
Req Qualification, In-Take Calls, Candidate Submittals, 30 Day Evals, etc.
Work closely with Skiltrek leadership to ensure all necessary paperwork is in place to conduct business with clients.
Work closely with Skiltrek's Virtual Recruiting Center (VRC) to prioritize open positions and see those positions through to closure.
Required
Experience:
Successful experience executing at a high level in the Staffing Industry.
Open to other Non-IT opportunities.
Proven ability to stay disciplined to an agreed upon playbook, while also being flexible enough to deal with a certain level of ambiguity while we build out the program.
The ability to stay self-motivated and work independently.
Successful experience communicating and partnering with a distributed team.
