The Bid Coordinator is responsible for administrative support to the Estimating Department during the pre-construction and bidding phase of a project.
Responsibilities:
Assists in finding critical data within plans, specifications, and bid documents for solicitation of competitive bids from applicable Subcontractors and Vendors.
Monitor incoming project communications and communicate pertinent information to relevant parties via phone or email.
Interact in person, via phone or email with Client/Owners, Owner's Representatives, Subcontractors, Vendors and Estimators to ensure proper information and documentation flows in a timely manner between all parties.
Follow-up with Subcontractors/Vendors on outstanding proposals to ensure timely receipt of bid critical information.
Assist in the preparation and data entry of Invitations to Bid, Project Narratives, Requests for interpretations and other required bid documents and Proposals.
Assist in quantity take-offs with assistance of take-off program to qualify/confirm Subcontractor/Supplier accuracy.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with Client/Owner's, Property Management Teams, Subcontractors and Vendors
Qualifications:
Construction industry experience and the ability to read construction plans is preferred Microsoft Office & Excel proficiency is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented Ability to manage calendars, prioritize work and meet deadlines Job Type:
