Responsibilities:
Leads a team dedicated to the development and ongoing support of all lending related software, including the loan origination system (LOS) and others, and supports both operational and strategic lending activities.
Partners with the Consumer Lending Leadership team to develop and execute strategies that enhance the user and member experience, increase efficiencies, and automate processes within our lending systems.
Responsible for coordinating with all stakeholders to plan, organize and execute daily operations and projects/initiatives to meet organizational goals and objectives of the Consumer Lending Department and organization.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED SKILLS/
Experience:
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited university required.
Degree in Business, Project Management or related field preferred.
Five years experience in system administration to include system development, configurations, troubleshooting and testing required.
Project management experience in lending or related line of business preferred.
Three years of leadership experience required.
Experience with JavaScript, Agile methodology, rules configurations, Symitar preferred.
Must possess extensive knowledge of consumer and credit card products and services, consumer loan documentation and consumer lending regulations.
Internal candidates must demonstrate understanding of leadership competencies, and have successfully completed a manager level internal leadership program or an approval external leadership program.
Superior communication skills to include:
written abilities, presentation skills, active listening, voice quality, grammar, articulacy, strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking ability, conflict management and telephone etiquette skills.
Effective leadership and negotiation skills with ability to adapt to change within working responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Remote work environment with occasional in person meetings/events required.
Sedentary role.
Some nights and weekends required.
