CYBER: Cybersecurity Program Manager (PM) - MacDill AFB, FL with Security Clearance
The Cybersecurity PM will provide management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor and subcontractor personnelThe PM provides management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for the execution of this contractThe PM serves as the single point of contact for the work performed under this contract, including work performed by subcontractorsThe PM is responsible for issues arising from work across the entire contract, as well as the successful resolution of these issuesDuties Include:
o Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
o Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the program, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programs and corporate, technical and specialist standards.
o Managing the program's budget on behalf of the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO), monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresseso Facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams.
o Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan and program governance arrangements.
o Ensuring there is allocation of common resources and skills within the program's individual projects.
o Managing communications with all stakeholders.
o Initiating activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise.
o Reporting the progress of the program at regular intervals to the Contracting Officer (CO) and the Contraction Officer Representative (COR)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial positiono Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodso Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principleso Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, Microsoft Project etc.
) is a strong advantageo Outstanding leadership and organizational skillso Excellent communication skillso Excellent problem-solving abilityo Active TS/SCI clearance requiredo Should possess a PMP and a DoD 8570.
01-M, Information Assurance Management Level III cert.
o Eight or more years of relevant PM experienceo Possess a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or higher Recommended Skills Administration Basecamp Certified Project Management Professional Change Management Communication Coordinating Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
