Responsibilities Peraton requires a Security Administrator to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3.
Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.
The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.
The Security Administrator is responsible for the administration and coordination of the DOD, DOE, or other industrial security programs and activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment in coordination with government agencies and management personnel.
Reviews and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
Obtains rulings, approvals, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor access to restricted records and materials.
Prepares and conducts security education classes and security audits.
Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Performs status checks on current investigations, determining upcoming reinvestigation dates, and relaying that information back to each employee.
Conducts security self-inspections, physical security surveys, and threat/vulnerability assessments.
Ensures maintenance of the security clearance data base and document control using the Access Commander database.
Interfaces with government customers on security related issues.
Ensures that classified information entrusted to the company is properly safeguarded as outlined in federal controlling instructions.
Responsible for preparation, management, and interfacing with the Defense Security Service during audits.
Extensive knowledge of COMSEC and of COMSEC Account Custodian of keying material for STE communication devices and SIPRNet terminals.
Defense Security Service (DSS) FSO certification required.
In-depth working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and proficiency in using JPAS.
Thorough knowledge of using/applying US Government online programs such as the Electronic Personnel Security Questionnaire (EPSQ); Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP), and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Position is contingent of contract award Salary is representative based on location and other factors Qualifications Required
Qualifications:
2 years expereince with BS/BA degree; 0 years expereince with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree.
A DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Prior experience in a Security Admin role in support of a large scale DoD program with personnel operating in multiple locations both CONUS/OCONUS.
Thorough understanding of onboarding security requirements for personnel at HQ USSOCOM, TSOCs, and Components.
Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
