Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates - Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security - Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences - Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons - Answer alarms and investigate disturbances - Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and alarm systems - Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position - Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety - Familiarity with report writing - Excellent surveillance and observation skills - High school diploma or equivalent required - Ability to stand for long periods of time - Strong interpersonal skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
