1 - A network of 16 branches spanning our northern territory The VP of Service Center Operations is responsible for the supervision of managers and oversight of service center operations in the assigned region.
The incumbent will leverage process improvement techniques and automation capabilities to drive efficiency while optimizing the member and employee experience.
An ideal candidate exercises sound judgment and independent discretion in all areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Establish performance goals for the region Guide direct reports in the establishment of performance goals for their service center and for their assigned team members Develop a sales culture to encourage cross-selling among team members for the benefit of members and to promote growth of the organization Promote and coordinate products and services provided by CUSOs Provide direction, develop, and mentor managers Determine and maintain appropriate staffing levels Oversee the recruitment, selection, management, development, training, discipline, and motivation of employees in the region Cultivate strong working relationships and build trust among team members Seek coaching and mentoring opportunities with all region employees Meet with each employee in the region on an annual basis to discuss their professional career path Fosters an All Team culture within the organization by providing open lines of communication and cooperation between all areas Communicate progress and concerns with executive-level management Develop policies, procedures, and systems Manage vendor relationships and contracts in accordance with Suncoast Credit Union's Vendor Management Policy Oversee budget development, monitoring, and maintenance Participate in the overall strategic planning for credit union Attend community events during and outside of regular business hours Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or CCUE or PCUE designation.

years of experience in the management of a financial institution service center or branch, or group of branches Holds the highest level of lending authority Excellent organization, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage areas of responsibility and attain goals set for the department Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems or situations requiring broad-based solutions impacting areas outside of immediate responsibility Extensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, government regulators, and senior executive leadership Ability to negotiate, influence, and reach a compromise with senior executive leaders Skills Analytics Customer Service Leadership Networking Project Management Public Speaking Sales Safe Act Statement This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
The employee will obtain a unique identifier from the registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities.
The employee must maintain and renew the registration on an annual basis, provide updated registration information with the registry on a timely basis, and provide a unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Suncoast Credit Union policies and procedures.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
