Description Leidos is actively hiring for an In-Transit Visibility (ITV) Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Tampa, FL.
JOB SUMMARYIn-Transit Visibility (ITV) Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Ensure objectives to obtain the most efficient freight transportation services at the most economical cost, as well as real time tracking of the freight, and personal property are adhered to in accordance with policies and regulations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Execute In-Transit Visibility Assessments and advise USMARCENT Logistics Directorate.
- Perform and administer technical and analytical work concerned with planning, development, execution, and tracking of the Marine Corps primary transportation operations agencies.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and track the movement of equipment and materiel through the distribution pipeline and influencing traffic policies and programs.
- Provide in-transit recommendations concerning matters covered by Marine Corps policies and procedures.
- Provide expert support in the implementation and use of joint and Service logistics automated tools and web access portals (IDE/GTN Convergence (IGC), Electronic Transportation Acquisition (ETA), Integrated Mission Support for Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (ISDDC), RF-ITV Automated Movement and Identification Systems (AMIS), Single Mobility System (SMS), Air Force Tracker, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Standard System (DLA DSS), and familiarity with commercial carrier websites.
- Assist in ensuring USMC distribution requirements are integrated into global, national and theater logistics automated systems.
- Perform liaison and coordination with HQ USMC, USCENTCOM, and other military staffs, as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Active SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelors' Degree in related field or additional years of experience can be considered- Ten (10) years' relevant experience with Department of Defense and Marine Corps ITV programs.
- A thorough understanding of Componency as it relates to the inter-relationships between MARCENT, CENTCOM and the HQMC staffs.
- Proficient in MS 365 applications (word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, database, etc.
).
- Maintain the ability to travel and work overseas in an austere environment.
- Current US passport or ability to acquire/renew within 90 days.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Three (3) years' experience at a combatant command or component command.
- Experience with Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS)- Experience with Ground Combat Supply System Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)- Prior military service with honorable discharge.
- Bachelors' degree.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $49,400.
00 - $89,300.
