What You Will Do:

The Audit Remediation Specialist will use their accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data management, information systems and technology, or other relevant discipline to assist our client in the optimization of financial accounting and reporting processes, strengthening the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, and supporting key client organizations in their corrective action planning and mitigation strategies to meet the client's financial statement auditability objectives.
What You Will Need:


  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain SECRET federal security clearance or higher.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Data Management, Information Systems or Technology, or other discipline relevant to the business process area being supported.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data management, information systems and technology, or other discipline relevant to the business process area being supported. (Advanced degree may waive YOE requirement)

  • Ability to work on client site full-time or based on scheduled assignments.


What Would Be Nice To Have:


  • Private-sector/commercial experience in accounting, auditing, business management, finance, data management, information systems and technology, or other discipline relevant to the business process area being supported.

  • General knowledge of Federal accounting and auditing standards.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
