We are looking for an individual with skill, ability and compassion to fulfill our full-time Housekeeping Aide position.
We believe that taking pride in everything we do for our residents is a calling.
Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform position specific job duties at an acceptable level.
Job responsibilities are completed by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame.
An individual will also demonstrate good skills in all forms of communication.

Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, restrooms, hallways and common areas.
Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
Participates in annual cleaning schedules.
Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
Informs supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Adheres to all policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or
Experience:
The ability to read, write, speak clearly and follow written and oral instructions.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Must be aware and understand the needs of the elderly.
Must be thoroughly familiar with all policies and procedures of the facility.
Work Environment:
This job position requires moderate physical demands.
Duties may include frequent walking, stooping/kneeling/bending, lifting/carrying, and pushing/pulling during work.
