Community Relations Liaison - Manatee County

Diamond Home Health, in Tampa, FL, is a home health agency providing customized care and quality services in five surrounding counties of Tampa, FL. We are seeking a Community Relations Liaison to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. This position will be based in Manatee County and includes an accelerated rate of pay for current book of business/contacts.
The qualified individual will be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with members of the community and referral sources. Our Liaison must be adept at public relations ranging from event planning and participation, conducting tours for potential residents and family members, and being involved in the community through participation in professional groups and associations. This individual will work with team members to increase occupancy level by creating marketing plans and meeting their objectives and will also respond to customer requests and concerns and assist them with the decision making process by providing guidance and information regarding community services.
Qualifications
o Some college preferred.
o Minimum of 2 years of marketing and outside sales experience in the healthcare or long-term care industry, skilled nursing environment is preferred.
o Must have a passion for working with seniors in our community.
o Must have excellent communication, negotiation skills and powerful public speaking ability.
o General knowledge of business management.
o Proficent in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
