Overview By Light is looking for a Satellite Network Engineer with knowledge in configuration, training, testing, operation, testing, fielding, installation and maintenance of SATCOM networks and systems; TDMA, MF-TDMA, FDMA; deploy tactical/strategic systems and subsystems; documented experience in SATCOM architecture; analysis of iDirect, ViaSat, L3, Tampa Microwave, Windmill, DRS SCOSS-J, and GD, VSAT; familiarity with RMF and its rules & regulations. Responsibilities Develop methodology and implementation strategies for optimizing the performance, security, reliability and availability of JCSE's SATCOM systems. Provide engineering support for the implementation of a multiple hub, terrestrially connected global network and support engineering efforts of planning and performance management, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, and integration support of other SATCOM hardware and software systems and subsystems. Required Experience/Qualifications IAT Level II certification required Preferred Experience/Qualifications Bachelors' Degree in a Computer Science or relevant field Certified iGT Installer/Operator/Maintainer CCNA Switching and Routing Special Requirements/Security Clearance Top Secret security clearance required Position requires proof of Covid-19 full vaccination status or qualified exemption
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network Administration, Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
