Director of Business Development, Navy at CIRCOR International in Tampa, FL

This role is responsible for identifying and capturing new business for the company aligned with CIRCOR's strategic goals. The director will coordinate with product management and engineering on product specifications and developments, use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends as well as conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products and services. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and Implement strategies to achieve targeted short-term and long-term growth objectives. Assess market needs, understand how they relate to CIRCOR product capabilities and develop market specific strategies and business plans. Define validation of entry into new high growth market segments aligned to CIRCOR's mission and purpose. Develop, validate, and present business cases to senior management to align with strategy to grown in adjacent and new markets. Lead customer interaction at the most senior levels with the ability to influence customer strategy and support CIRCOR's growth objectives. Define best practices, standards, and processes to gain new customers and identify opportunities with current customers. Establish performance targets aligned to growth objectives and manage the successful achievement of these commitments. Collaborate with product management, marketing, and new product development functions to develop messaging content and bring awareness of CIRCOR's competitive capabilities. Support the development and execution of technology roadmaps. JOB REQUIREMENTS CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Skills & Abilities Data collection and analysis to support product campaigns Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence leaders at the executive level Proven and progressive sales or business development success Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively Demonstrated ability to build solid professional relationships Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Demonstrated ability to influence and achieve results through others without direct management responsibility Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and executive presence Strong presentation skills and the ability to promote your ideas effectively Strong knowledge of Industrial Markets Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment Education & Experience A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university is required MBA or Master's degree preferred, but not required. Minimum 10 years related working experience with 7 of those years as a Sr. Sales or Business Development Leader. Possess or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
