Software Quality Assurance Analyst

The Intermediate level, under moderate supervision, conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Executes moderately complex tests according to established plans and scripts, documents problems in an issue log, and retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. Drafts and revises moderately complex test plans and scripts. Identifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies. Assists in planning and scheduling testing. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional team to utilize effective strategies that result in meeting SQA commitments and align delivery priorities with business objectives Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures Review and analyze application requirements providing input and estimates for testing tasks Design and develop test plans and test cases based on acceptance criteria and technical specifications that result in effective identification of software defects Ensure automated test coverage of manual tests for your assigned stories Assist in the development and maintenance of automation tests Identify defects with clear and concise recreation steps, and work closely with developers to resolve Use technical skills to configure test environment Innovate tools and processes to enable the team to test more effectively Readily learn new technologies and processes to complete test cases as needed Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree, in a technical-related field or equivalent work experience 3 - 5 years of software testing Demonstrated knowledge about application development and technology; research and showcase ongoing knowledge of the latest trends, tools, and technologies Experience in Agile/Scrum development lifecycle Working knowledge of MS Office Well-developed analytical abilities High level of attention to detail, creative problem solving, and capacity to work on a team Positive, collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Previous test automation experience is a plus Experience writing queries using SQL Experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger Working knowledge of VersionOne or Azure Boards Experience with exploratory testing Software Tester certifications We care about our people Competitive salary based on experience Annual bonus incentive Career development to expand your skills and maximize your potential Diverse and inclusive community of belonging where you're empowered to bring ideas and act Work/life balance with hybrid workweek between working remotely and working in-office 3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 days paid sick time, 8 US holidays plus 4 optional holidays Additional time away from work:
