Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required for this position. This position is on-site at MacDill Air Force Base. Responsibilities The Cloud Engineer will:
Establish and maintain a working knowledge of AWS products and capabilities; Work independently and within team environments to set up and maintain AWS architectures at various classification levels; Work closely with IT security to understand, implement, and monitor security controls and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation; and Think creatively to propose and evaluate AWS cloud architectures. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Active Top Secret clearance required. TS/SCI preferred. 3
years of experience in software development, infrastructure, or Cloud operations role 2
years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting with applications deployed in on-premise hybrid Cloud environments using technologies, including Hadoop or Cloudera Experience with multiple operating systems, including LINUX, UNIX, and Windows-based operating systems Experience with networking administration, including DNS, subnetting, and firewalls and ACLs Experience with Cloud Command Line Interfaces (CLIs) and Cloud SDKs and extract, transform, load (ETL) processes Experience with automated patch management for both Windows and UNIX-based systems using configuration management tools, including Ansible Ability to show proficiency programming languages, including C#, Java, or .NET
Qualifications:
BA or BS degree Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or MilCloud 2.0 Experience with applying DoD security technical implementation guides (STIGs) and automating that process Experience with Microsoft Identity Services, including Active Directory Domain Services, Federation Services, and associated identity management tools a plus Experience with working in defense or intelligence community Cloud environments a plus Experience with storage fundamentals, including CIFS and NFS and backup and disaster recovery processes a plus Experience with developing and managing machine images or templates to automate Cloud deployments Experience with optimizing Cloud environments, including leveraging native Cloud capabilities, right-sizing servers, expanding storage, and tracking cost efficiencies at the application level Experience with configuring and aggregating logs for data analysis using Splunk or ELK solutions Experience with maintaining data transfer systems, including NIFI Knowledge of FedRAMP, RMF, and the implications of C&A and SA&A a plus in a DoD environment Cloud-focused Certifications preferred
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
