We're a curious, responsive, dedicated bunch and are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
The Role:
The Senior Cloud Engineer will contribute to creating the cloud-based data architecture and environment that supports our customer.
This individual will design, develop and establish a joint cloud environment for the integration of multiple data sources for a joint analytics and computing environments.
You will deploy applications, build and maintain cloud instances, and support end users (data scientists and analysts).
Skills Requested:
Experience using an enterprise source control service (Git/GitHub is preferred) Work with little supervision to resolve problems to customer's satisfaction Experience with Agile DevOps, including operations and development engineers participating together in the entire service lifecycle, from design, Test Driven Development (TDD), build and test automation, release configuration, is preferred Minimum of 7 years of full-time experience Cloud Architecture Development/Implementation Meaningful experience applying advanced technical skills and designing and implementing distributed applications and systems in cloud environments (AWS strongly preferred) Minimum 1 year of experience with scripting (e.

, PERL, PowerShell, Scala, Ruby) Minimum 1 year of experience using Docker containers for provisioning and automation Additional Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (BS) or higher in computer science or computer engineering discipline Active TS/SCI Clearance Must be a U.
