$59,000 - $85,000 based on experience and credentials The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst applies software quality assurance practices and principles throughout the software development life cycle.
This role is a key player in the planning, design, and execution of software testing.
The QA collaborates with the development team and business analysts to ensure the test cases are based on the software requirements and validates the software meets established quality standards.
This individual will embrace automation to reduce repetitive manual testing overhead to optimize processes and meet organizational needs directly related to strategic initiatives.
Additionally, this individual will cultivate relationships with varying departments throughout the credit union, acting as a liaison between business user groups and technical systems groups.

Responsibilities:
Ensure all product and application deliverables are fully tested and approved before public use to ensure a zero-defect policy for all assigned projects Review and analyze system specifications Collaborate with the team to develop effective strategies and test plans Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results for browser, mobile and API testing Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps Create logs to document testing phases and analyze defects Report bugs and errors to development teams, troubleshoot issues Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements) 3
years of experience in quality assurance and software testing or progressive responsibility in related business functions with a financial institution Ability to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and complex problems Good knowledge and understanding of all credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulator Ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures Works independently with general supervision.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
