Multi-year/year-round program - starts as soon as possible and continues through 9/30/24 (summer included; must be available for entire duration of program) Math instruction via push-in sessions for grades 6-8 in Hillsborough and 9-12 in Alachua In-person programs at an alternative education campus with a neglected/delinquent student population (typically 2 grade levels behind) Part-time schedule of 19 hours per week in Hillsborough and 11 hours per week in Alachua $30 per hour Our intervention teachers use a prescribed curriculum and the gradual release model of instruction to help students address their identified skill deficits and reach on-level academic success.

Instruct to students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting.
Deliver designated instructional models to eligible students.
Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
Other duties as assigned.
Teacher Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or higher Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience Willingness and ability to teach various grade levels Must pass the Department of Justice background check process, including a drug screen Teaching Certificate is preferred Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred Experience with Alternative Education environments a plus A passion to help students! The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
