40Position SummaryThe Sales Operations Director provides strategic support for growth initiatives by forecasting and planning, process optimization, program implementation, Salesforce CRM optimization, end to end process improvement, learning and performance, and project management.
Has minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Gathers market data and research to promote organic growth in key markets; assess, identify and develop pipeline activities to support increased sales opportunities.
Assist with the design, implementation, and management of sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting used by the sales organization.
Develops and manages database of strategic prospects for sales.
Assists with the roll out of a formalized consultant and attorney strategy to optimize current relationships and build new connections through the 'request for proposal' process.
Identify opportunities for New Business process enhancement, gain alignment, and drive implementation as needed.
Identifies potential clients and conducts research on each business' specific needs.
Drafts reports and summaries of finding providing recommendations on customized strategies.
Work with Sales and Marketing to continuously improve optimizing distribution channels; provide analytics to Sales to help drive intelligent decisions on distribution channels to improve sales growth opportunities.
Provides back up to the proposal, marketing and PMO teams to ensure business continuity and efficiency.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other related field.
Eight years of experience supporting a sales team.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Experience managing data sets and deriving analytics.
Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Word, Power Point and Outlook Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Easily adaptable to new software and technology.
Strong oral and written communication skills Highly collaborative with the ability to establish a strong alignment with project stakeholders.
Understanding of benefit plans Preferred Qualifications Ten years of experience supporting a sales team.
