Job Description Job Description Licensed Insurance Agent OIG Insurance, a long established commercial/ personal insurance agency is seeking a gregarious, hardworking, and committed full time Agent to join our growing family! A 220 license is required This is an inside salesposition.
An experienced Agent will be maintaining and growing an already existing book of business, with the possibility to expand and earn additional commissions by cross selling additional lines of business to our established clientele.
Our commercial lines book of business consists mainly of Commercial Auto, Worker's Compensation, and General Liability; so knowledge of these products is required.
The position requires superior written and verbal communication skills, and would benefit from someone who is self-motivated and excels in prioritizing and organizing their work flow.
Follow up is imperative, as is making our hard-earned clientele top priority This is a full time, long term position.
We are looking for a candidate who wants a career in this field, and a team member to become part of our work family.
Managerial experience is a major plus, and ability to show revenue growth under your charge is also taken into consideration.
Spanish/ English speaking agents a PLUS! Requirements Previous experience working in insurance Professional experience with quoting, binding and follow up Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience in commercial insurance is a plus Professional, elegant and polished personal presence is essential Professional, elegant, and polished verbal and written communication skills are essential Responsibilities Commercial Lines Agent will be responsible for being the first point of contact for our valued and hard-earned clientele.
