is currently seeking a Program Analyst to join our team in Tampa, FL.
POSITION
Summary:
The Program Analyst (PA) position will be based out of MacDill AFB, FL with the opportunity to work 100% remote.

The PA position will support Records Management (RM) within the J64, serve as the Division Files Custodian, and track mandatory annual training.
J64 is standing up records management and will need an ongoing subject matter expert (SME) to organize, track, and ensure RM is being done properly and consistently, and transition to all electronic files into Content Manager.
The PA will establish coordination with other U.

Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Records Managers (J6 and Headquarters), create, update, and maintain the Office Records List, develop and refine a plan for storage and organization of records in cooperation with the USSOCOM RM team.
The position will require periodic travel (up to 65% travel).
JOB DUTIES:
Oversee and guide records management for the J64 in coordination with the J6 and USSOCOM RM teams.
Train and assist J64 staff (Military, civilian, and contract) in appropriately identifying records and storing them in the appropriate location, advocate for the continued, systematic storage of records, and support J64 staff as a RM subject matter expert (SME).
Monitor automation and ensure documents are destroyed at the end of the retention period.
As an SME provide advice to the J64 concerning RM.
Research and coordinate irregular records for storage and retention.
Provide training on new RM procedures or standards.
Train new personnel as needed.
Develop a tracking system for required annual training and required certificates including collecting and storing certificates copies.
Support, promote, and assist transition into the DOD Records Management.
Work one-on-one or in groups to educate individuals who generate records on the importance of RM, the procedures in place, and the need for systematic filing of documents.
Assist in determining retention times and appropriate file locations for documents.
Create and maintain the office file plan and office records list.
Brief and document that senior leaders have received brief.
Facilitate transition to electronic files as needed.
Ensure all files are moved from the share drives.
Manage end-of-cycle actions.
Lead the team in Staff Assistance Visits.
Travel periodically to allow face-to-face coordination and promote the outstanding communication required.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Flexibly accept assignments supporting various aspects of the J64 and work independently while seeking guidance as appropriate.
Collaborate with colleagues and customers to support all assigned tasks.
Assist with the development and review of policy administration documentation as requested.
Assist the Government in generating reports analyzing and assessing each department's performance achievements against the standards.
Assist the Government in preparing briefings and training documentation on operating procedures and requirements.
Create reports and data visualizations to make recommendations to leadership.
Monitor project schedule compliance levels, identify gaps, and potential issues.
Open issues tracking and follow up with issue owners.
Provide planning support for programs including scheduling and performance monitoring.
Gather and analyze information to develop regular program status reports.
Organizes meetings and events, virtual or otherwise, and assists in planning and preparing agendas and meeting notes, as requested.
Experience:
Five (5) years of related experience Experience in use of portals for document management.
Motivated interest in managing programs, schedule implementation, and tracking timelines.

Top Secret EDUCATION:
Four-year degree from an accredited college or university (preferred), currently working on appropriate degree requirements in an accredited college or university will also be considered.
