Clinical Director (Licensed Psychologist)


Summary:
The Clinical Director/Licensed Psychologist directs, coordinates, and oversees the PHP and IOP clinical services provided within the Atlanta clinic.
He/She will work closely with the Director of Operations to oversee clinical programs, meet community needs, promote the use of a continuum of care/clinical pathway, and assure appropriate utilization of services to ensure the clinic meets the organization's strategic initiatives.
Will ensure clinical staff receive appropriate training and supervision to ensure quality patient care is provided to all patients.
He/She will facilitate connections with community providers to create and foster referral sources.
Be responsible for patients receiving high quality, evidence-based treatment resulting in clinically significant positive outcomes.
In combination with the Director of Operations addresses any performance improvement needs identified for the clinical supervisor, lead therapist, therapists, and behavioral specialist staff.
Will report to the Senior Clinical Director - Regionals.

Responsibilities:
Oversee clinical staff performance in providing treatment services.
Ensure the clinical staff receives appropriate clinical supervision.
Conduct and/or oversee retrospective reviews and evaluations of the quality of patient care through patient care audit procedures.
Ensure adherence to standardized treatment protocols and other system-wide clinical and/or program materials.
Ensure adequate clinical training is provided and there are on going opportunities for development.
Maintain and assure consistent service delivery for patient receiving care.
Create program materials as needed in conjunction with system leaders and according to identified standards.
Adopt and ensure adherence to standardized treatment protocols and other system-wide clinical and/or program materials.
Facilitate the clinical continuum of care.
Develop and maintain referral sources within the local community.
Serve as a liaison with Rogers and the community.
Assures patient continuum of care with Rogers residential and in-patient services.
May provide direct patient care for patients in the program.
May conduct initial assessment on patients in the program.
Work with staff to develop and update the patient's treatment plan.
May provide ongoing care to selected patients in the program.
Monitor clinical staff performance and provide opportunities for continuing education.
Provide regular and ongoing education for clinical staff to ensure staff are competent/clinically effective.
Keep staff up to date on developments and learning opportunities offered within and outside Rogers.
Ensure completion of regular performance reviews of all clinical staff supervised.
Requirements Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.
D.
) in a psychology related field (e.
g.
, clinical psychology, counseling psychology) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.
D.
) licensed in the state in which the clinic/programs are based.
Administrative, operational, and supervisory experience in a behavioral health/psychology/psychiatry setting preferred.
Sales/marketing, development and/or community relations-related experience.
Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
