The Sr.
Compensation Analyst is primarily responsible for but not limited to job evaluations, market analyses, survey participation, compensation recommendations, and compensation analytics, and may lead or assist with compensation projects or special initiatives.
This position will also support performance management, incentive plans, and merit administration.
Key Accountabilities:
Compensation management:
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, management, and employees to provide day-to-day compensation support and recommendations.
Analyze and provide salary recommendations for various employee actions (new hires, promotions, reorganizations).
Analysis includes reviewing external market data, internal organizational structure and equity, and other relevant factors.
Conduct job evaluations.
Job evaluations include a comparison of primary duties and minimum qualifications as compared to external market data, regulatory requirements, internal grade, salary structure, and titling conventions.
Support compensation administration of annual programs such as performance management, annual incentive, and merit.
Assist with regulatory compliance, audit requests, union negotiations and rate cases.
Salary survey participation and market data maintenance Adhere to effective internal controls.
Conduct analyses of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance with the organization's pay practices.
Formulates recommendations regarding developing company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions, and organizational structures.
Assists with special studies and recommendations on incentive compensation, bonus plans, or equity.
Generates reports as requested using data from HRIS system downloads and the compensation software tool.
Applies independent, in-depth technical expertise and uses knowledge of Compensation principles, practices, and procedures for the completion of assignments and projects for the benefit of the company, client group, and other stakeholders Lead the HRIS Compensation Module and participate in system user acceptance testing to ensure expected outcomes with functionality and user training Lead on assigned projects and partner with HRBP's and payroll Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
Five (5) to eight (8) years relevant experience in Compensation, Accounting, Finance, HRIS required.
Skills/
Qualifications:
Proven HR systems (preferably UKG, PayFactors, HRSoft, and Success Factors) experience in a Production environment desired Experience in standard job grading methodologies is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.
