o Provides engineering expertise focusing on requirements analysis, concept/technology development, risk assessments, and verification & validation of body-worn and handheld tracking devices utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) and other Alternate Position/Navigation/Timing technologies and approacheso Provides support to technical assessments of RF communications including protocols and waveforms; RF system design and/or testing ; RF circuit and systems design and/or testing; operations and technologies applicable to waveform/modulation design and/or testing, antenna design and/or testing; and RF line of sight and beyond line of sight/SATCOM systemso Evaluates and recommends programs and development plans utilizing a professional knowledge of multi-discipline engineeringo Works with organizational managers, budget personnel, and engineering authorities to develop and gain approval for proposed projectso Provides inputs for status briefings to leadership, outlining assigned programs, and projectso Supports technical evaluation elements of market surveys conducted in conjunction with assigned projects and programso Supports government counterparts regarding the adequacy and clarity of engineering and analysis processes based on daily application of the processes and agency reporting requirementso Provides advanced inputs for status briefings to leadership, outlining assigned programs, projects, problems, and recommended resolutiono Supports contract modifications and makes technical recommendations for change order approval; supports budget control directly supporting the engineering efforto Provides decision support inputs for approval of plans, specification, cost estimates, design calculations, schedules, cost proposals, and engineering studieso Applies advanced tools to document and analyze the results of critical, complex activities and taskso Plans, executes, and documents design, development, and production efforts on behalf of government counterparts, using performance indicators identified in applicable engineering surveillance processeso Provides multidisciplinary engineering work to determine the technical needs in the acquisition, development, and sustainment of systemso Applies a number of diverse engineering practices, techniques, and processes to resolve difficult issues consistent with program objectiveso Interprets engineering requirements into design characteristics and criteriao Plans, analyze, and evaluate engineering and technical efforts to define requirements, translate into design criteria, assess alternative design approaches, and develop system specificationso Determines the means to advance projects and evaluate significant modifications to production methods or materials due to changes in requirements, technological advances, or shortcomingso Develops evaluations and technical justifications of feasibility; analyzes and studies performance requirements against a range of diverse considerationso Evaluates technology, components, and systems by developing evaluation criteria, performing evaluations, and documenting results What you will need to have:
o Security Clearance Required:
TS with SCI Eligibilityo Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related field plus 12 years of practical technical experience with sensors, tagging, tracking, and locating systems, surveillance systems, and close target audio reconnaissance systems, or an equivalent mix of education and experienceo 6 years of experience with RF communications (LOS & BLOS), RF propagation, and antenna theoryo Prior military experience with familiarity and/or experience in SOF tactics and organizationso Practical experience or familiarity with the SOF requirements validation processo Familiarity with the DoD acquisition process is highly desired

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
