Jacobs is in search of a Forensic Analyst to bolster our operations at the MacDill AFBThe individual will play a crucial role in providing forensic and analytical PED support, which encompasses processing, exploitation, and dissemination of various data forms including latent fingerprints, digitized latent prints, forensic reports, and moreProgram Mission:
The task support to the USSOCOM J24 Global Security Office, Special Operations Command, Identity Intelligence Operations Division (GSO-i2O) in concordance with the specifications of the statement of work (SOW)The imperative is to enable SMEs to facilitate the Production, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) of biometric, forensic, and Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) materialsThis involves a coordination network spanning multiple government agencies, utilizing various USG data sources to compile case files and compose Intelligence Information Reports (IIR) for swift dissemination to SOF forces and the wider intelligence community (IC)Contractor personnel are tasked with contributing to J2 mission objectives and managing the daily operational facets of the SOF Enterprise, which envelops HQUSSOCOM staff; USSOCOM Service components; theater special operations commands (TSOCs), special operations joint task forces (SOJTFs), and pertinent interagency and coalition partnersPrimary
Responsibilities:
o Offering Digital Media and CELLEX processing and analytical support for accurate and swift exploitation of captured enemy materials.
o Creating a Digital Media Enabled Watch List (WL) and managing it in conjunction with National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) and SOF components.
o Delivering DOMEX capability briefings to the military units we support and to visiting senior leaders.
o Providing weekly DOMEX production statistics to the COR.
o Submitting standardized weekly reporting to the COR, which includes metrics and vignettes of all WL encounters, i2 information gathered globally, and any upcoming requirements or process developmentThis position is CONTINGENT upon contract award, the expected award date is in December 2023Our recruiting team will follow up with you on your application and will be starting the interview evaluation process immediatelyHere's What You'll Need:
Basic
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent Forensic degreeAlternatively, a combination of forensic training, certifications, and 3 years of hands-on experience with contemporary forensics hardware, software, and methodologies.
o Minimum of 1 year of experience in:
o Using tools such as FTK 1x/3x, EnCase 5x or 6x, iLook, P2 Commander, or similar forensic examination toolsets.
o Familiarity with new technologies and programming techniques for multiple software languages like SQL programming, C#, C/C++, Perl, Python.
o Media imaging, verification, validation, data recovery/carving, understanding Unix commands, hexadecimal code study, and web filtering.
o Exploiting cell phones and extracting vital data using tools such as Device Seizure, Neutrino, BitPim,.
XRY/.
XACT, and more.
o Eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI ClearancePreferred
Qualifications:
o Willingness to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
