Transmission Line Engineer
Responsibilities:
Works closely with the team of transmission engineers and our utility clients on the design and installation of overhead electric transmission lines.
Use various industry standard in-house and client-based software applications to design and develop engineering construction packages.
Transmission Line Engineer Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in designing high-voltage overhead transmission lines.
(consultant experience required) Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program.
PE license preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience with PLS-CADD and PLS-Pole.
Proficient in design and review of transmission line design and construction packages.
Proficient in design of transmission foundations.
Proficient with transmission line hardware and materials.
Extensive experience with design codes and industry standards, including:
NESC, ASCE, IEEE and ACI.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Valid Drivers License.

Tampa, FL Pay Rate:
$90-130k/yr DOE Recommended Skills Construction Design Codes Licensed Professional Engineer Microsoft Office National Electrical Safety Code Software Applications Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
