Jacobs is looking for a highly-motivated Lead Software Engineer to serve as a leader within the J6 Directorate of USCENTCOMThis is a supervisory role with management responsibility over a workforce of approximately 15 contractor personnelThe Lead Software Engineer is responsible for engineering, system availability and reliability for Structured Query Language (SQL), web, network monitoring, and portal servers supporting Headquarters and CENTCOM Forward Headquarters locationsProgram Mission:
USCENTCOM C4 Enterprise SupportJacobs provides Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Enterprise Support (C4ES) to the J6 Directorate (CCJ6) of the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), located at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL, and its forward Headquarters located in QatarThe C4ES program provides CCJ6 with enterprise IT support services including the ability to share information anytime and anywhere through a Network-Centric Environment that is flexible, redundant, reliable, secure, and protectedThis position is CONTINGENT upon contract award, the expected award date is in April 2024Our recruiting team will follow up with you on your application and will be starting the interview evaluation process immediatelyPrimary
Responsibilities:
o Leads/manages diverse technical teams in the design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise systems and applications.
o Develops and integrates software systems systems to support day-to-day Government garrison operations, and transitions to reliable wartime support for the CENTCOM Forward Headquarters.
o Leads/manages support for locally developed software and COTS software including software changes with minimization of enterprise service disruption.
o Leads/manages the design and implementation of a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) program.
o Leads/manages backup and recovery of web application servers, web/portal capabilities, applications, and development and maintenance of databases.
o Develops web-based reports using SQL Reporting ServicesHere's What You'll Need:

Qualifications:
o TS/SCI Eligible Clearance requiredo Demonstrated experience providing virtual server environments hosting web and database services.
o Demonstrated experience in architecture development.
o Demonstrated experience managing application development projects in a military Joint Service Environment.
o Demonstrated experience as a developer using the following languages:
C#, SQL, ASP,.
NET, VB, JAVA scripts, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and dynamic HyperText Markup Language (HTML).
o Demonstrated experience/knowledge of cyber Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) for web applications and databases.
o Demonstrated experience in OSD Web Site Administration and DoD Public Release instructions and directives.
o Demonstrated experience in Microsoft software development tools#ANSdefense #MOIP #cjpost #LI-SS3 #C4ES Recommended Skills.
