JOB SUMMARY The Claim Support Supervisor will oversee the Claims Support department by managing its people and prioritizing and coordinating workflow.
The department will consist of Claims Service Representatives, First Notice of Loss Coordinators, and backup First Notice of Loss coordination.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Claims Support Department Implement and monitor claim processing related departmental policies and procedures Supervise the daily processing of service invoices are completed timely and in an accurate manner while adhering to departmental process procedures 1st Level payment approval within company guidelines for assigned area Facilitate resolution for vendor account for past due accounts receivables as necessary Perform monthly feedback and coaching sessions with direct reports Facilitate weekly KPI meetings with external partners Evaluate, coordinate, and prioritize the departmental workflow Hire, train, and mentor new associates Monitor and improve upon the quality output of the department Establish and report team metrics Perform regular and ad hoc reports and presentations Communicate concisely with other business groups in the organization Support representatives with difficult cases or system troubleshooting Regular liaison with management REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Strong understanding of accounting payable principles Excellent customer service skills Proven staff management and development abilities Expert in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel with extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and spreadsheets required Analytical capabilities Clear, concise oral and written communication skills Ability to multitask EDUCATION & TRAINING Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience EXPERIENCE At least two years in a supervisory role, preferably in an administrative, insurance claims, or call center capacity.
Preferred experience in workload management.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS Current 6-20 license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days, a plus Job Type:
