how would YOU put our drinks on every table? Position DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the execution and implementation of key Commercial Finance project initiatives.
This role will partner closely with the Sr.
Manager of CoPack Accounting to act as the champion for projects such as CoPack customer migrations, site integrations, and overall process improvements.
This position is highly visible and requires strong influential leadership abilities, communication skills as well as strong accounting and analytical experience.
Success in this role will also require the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments including but not limited to the Commercial Sales team, FP&A, Supply Chain Finance and Operations.
Essential Functions:
Act as a key representative of Commercial Finance on SAP projects, customer migrations, site integration and overall accounting processes.
Make formal and informal presentations on projects and provide key insights and recommendations.
Lead the review of new CoPack contracts to ensure proper pricing, warehousing fees, and volume commitments are captured by the Commercial Finance accounting team.
Develop, document, and implement process improvement initiatives.
Create new and efficient reports to improve automation structure.
Partner with the CoPack billing manager, commercialization team and other business partners to communicate the impact and risks associated with SAP projects, integrations and customer migrations.
Participate in the monthly close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations as needed.
Work cross-functionally with various departments to resolve complex CoPack issues to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
Provide support to key business partners such as the Commercial Sales team, FP&A, Supply Chain Finance and OperationsPartner with all levels of management in driving solutions to enhance departmental efficienciesUtilize Refresco systems in order to effectively report financial information.
Coordinate financial information for year-end auditOther special ad hoc projects and requests.
Education and
Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA preferred.
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in public accounting or industry.
Experience within the manufacturing industry preferred.
SAP/BI experience preferred.
Skills/
Qualifications:
Excellent accounting and analytical skills.
Proven influential leadership abilities.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency working in Excel, SAP and PowerPoint.
Ability to solve problems and implement solutions (results oriented mindset).
Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence (BI).
Ability to present fact-based recommendations across various levels of management.
Attention to detail, planning and organizational skill.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Strong team player who is able to collaborate and effectively communicate across multiple functions.
