Splunk Consulting Engineer with Security Clearance

As a Splunk Consulting Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level consulting services to our clients, helping them leverage the full potential of Splunk's capabilities for their business needs.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assess customer requirements, design and implement Splunk solutions, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
This role requires excellent technical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
o Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their business requirements, objectives, and technical environments.
o Analyze, design, and implement Splunk solutions tailored to meet client needs, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
o Develop and maintain Splunk deployment architectures, configurations, and documentation.
o Provide technical guidance and best practices to clients in deploying and utilizing Splunk features, modules, and applications.
o Perform troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance optimization of Splunk deployments.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and support, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
o Deliver training sessions and workshops to clients on Splunk administration, usage, and best practices.
o Stay updated with the latest Splunk features, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to log management, security, and analytics.
o Contribute to the development of reusable tools, scripts, and methodologies for efficient Splunk deployments.
Requirements:
o Proven experience as a Splunk Engineer or Consultant, working with enterprise-level deployments and complex environments.
o TS/SCI clearance (minimum)o Strong understanding of Splunk's core functionalities, including data ingestion, indexing, search processing, and visualization.
o Proficiency in Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and associated modules (e.
g.
, Splunk Security, Splunk ITSI, Splunk ES) is desired, but not required.
o Extensive knowledge of search queries, data modeling, dashboard creation, and Splunk's query language (SPL).
o Experience with scripting languages (e.
g.
, Python, PowerShell) for automation and data manipulation.
o Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and security protocols.
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and collaborate within a team.
o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
