SITEC - Configuration Management Service Owner Lead with Security Clearance

Every day, our employees do the can't be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers.Responsibilities Peraton has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Service Owner Lead to provide contractor management, direction, administration, and leadership of the execution of their respective site's requirements for the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) in support of United States (U.S.) Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The Configuration Management (CM), Service Owner Lead will be responsible for assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing SITEC 3 EOM technical efforts, coordinating with the USSOCOM TPOC, and managing the overall site's performance. The CM Service Owner Lead needs to be self-motivated and required to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally. The candidate must have good management and communications skills to interact and coordinate effectively interfacing with both internal and external executive leadership team. The CM Service Owner Lead is responsible for managing technical issues and business processes; managing and responding to Government issues, concerns, and comments; and alerting the Government proactively to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitations issues. The CM Service Owner Lead will be the main interface between the USSOCOM end customers, the SITEC 3 EOM contractor, component Deputy Program Managers, and the component J6 management staff and provide input into the management activities within their functional area. The CM Service Owner Lead will manage the Contractor and subcontractor staff, ensure staff development and mentor as applicable as well as work with third-party vendors applicable to their site as needed. The CM Service Owner Lead will manage teams at multiple locations. The CM Service Owner Lead is required to organize, direct, and manage all support functions applicable to the Configuration Management, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks. Must be able to review task plans and deliverable items, manage schedules in line with financial budget. The CM Service Owner Lead will ensure all personnel in his/her responsibility receive adequate guidance and direction for performing their daily tasks and will be responsible for developing/presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, and preparing project status reports as required. This will require that the system of record or tool of innovation be managed appropriately and always support the Global enterprise and its inventory ready for use. This area will support all the technical areas for incident management by having access to comparative data points across the enterprise as well as drive technical architecture decisions. Typical Responsibilities include:
Experience in Configuration Management to provide management, direction, administration, and leadership to an IT service-based approach to ensure proper management and monitoring of the CM data in a CM Database (CMDB) and a CM Document Library. Must have skills/knowledge of a logical service model of different enterprise devices and understand their relationships through the process of identifying, controlling, maintaining, and verifying installed hardware, software, and documentation. Responsible for providing configuration records for accuracy and adherence to guidelines and defined service standards and correct any exceptions as directed by the Government. Responsible to manage, update, and improve the CM Plan. This position is contingent upon contract award. o BS 10-12, Additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree. Must possess a TS clearance with eligibility for SCIo Must possess five (5) years of experience managing IT professionalso Must possess experience with site-specific logistics and technical challenges in a dynamic functional, management, and technical environmento Must possess experience working on a global-based, enterprise-wide project communicating with local and long-distance Government personnelo Must possess experience with license management oversight and accountability o Typical certifications would include some combination of the following:
ITIL 4 Foundation; Configuration Management II (CMII) and Remedy ITSM 9.1, Service Now or other CMDB contained system certification.
Qualifications:
o Experience (assigned or working with) the SOF community. Target Salary Range $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
