We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of five (5) years of experience for our continually evolving and growing defense practice located in Tampa, Florida.
Qualified candidate must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Candidates must possess excellent communication, writing and organizational skills, as well as the ability to analyze case facts, law and theories.
Further, candidates must have good communication skills so as to provide recommendations to Partners/clients while working collaboratively with other associates, paralegals and staff within the firm.
Candidates must be able to develop and apply skills to control all aspects of litigation, including but not limited to initial claim investigation, client reporting, pleading, preparation, discovery, negotiation, trial presentation and appeals at all judicial levels.
Technical ability to utilize all aspects of current office computer software including claims litigation management systems is necessary.
Fluency in Spanish (written & verbal) is a plus but not required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
