Job Description
The Cloud Infrastructure DevSecOps Engineer 2 position focuses on designing, analyzing, implementing, and supporting systems, software, and solutions tailored for deployment on cloud platforms. Working collaboratively within a team of software and IT engineers, the engineer plays a pivotal role in building high-performance, cloud-based solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Architecture and Development Support:
Support the development of open architectures and applications, ensuring they are optimized for cloud deployment.
Adoption of Cloud Best Practices:
Contribute to the adoption of cloud best practices and supporting technologies, facilitating capabilities like DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, and Micro-Services.
Solution Design and Implementation:
Involved in all stages of solution design, development, troubleshooting, and implementation on cloud infrastructure.
Security and Compliance:
Collaborate closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure all applications and solutions meet stringent security and compliance requirements.
Customer Interaction and Reporting:
Interface effectively with customer personnel at various organizational levels, reporting status on tasks and assignments.
Required Experience/Skills
5
years of experience as a Cloud Architect
AWS certification
Experience in team leadership
Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong technical writing skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with container management technologies such as OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, and Docker
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools like Gitlab, Nexus, and SonarQube
Familiarity with source code repository systems such as Git, BitBucket, or Mercurial
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field

Competitive salary from $105-160k upon experience
