Leidos is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Information Technology Services (CITS) contract at our customer site in Tampa, FL. You will be part of a team that provides an innovative, modernized, IT life-cycle management system to USCENTCOM, including next-generation IT infrastructure cloud services and end-to-end automation. The CITS program provides USCENTCOM with the capability to maintain high readiness rates for an innovative enterprise IT infrastructure on a global scale. Primary
Responsibilities:
Provides on-site, hands on O&M support for client computing devices to include personal computers, thin/zero clients, laptops, Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs), and peripherals. Provides end-user IT system and software maintenance for the USCENTCOM COOP. Coordinates and manages Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accountability of new equipment, replacement equipment, and upgrades. Tracks the disposition of equipment throughout its life cycle (e.g., Computer Equipment Replacement Program (CERP) and Life Cycle Replacement (LCR)). Processes end of life, defective, and/or damaged equipment through the Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO). Develops procedures to facilitate management and testing of desktop load set configurations to include tracking and compiling of user issues, software conflicts, devices conflicts, and other similar tasks. As needed, may provide CPN and SCO support to Coalition partners; provide expertise and advice relating to CPNs, CPN-X, CX-SWA, and coalition networks. Basic
Qualifications:
Must possess an active Secret clearance or higher. 2
years relevant experience with a High School/General Education Development diploma, or 1 year experience with an Associates' degree, or no experience with a Bachelor's degree. One or more of the following active certifications:
A+, or CND, or Network+, or Security
