The role you'll contribute:
Radiologic Technologists perform Radiographic Examinations that create images for diagnosis. Radiography integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. Radiographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in Radiographic positioning and exposure technique. Radiologic Technologists prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate Radiographic Examinations.

Performs all above Tech 1 Tasks and
1. Is able to teach and assist others.
2. Works well independently with minimal supervision.
3. Operates portable image intensifier able to provide fluoroscopic assistance in the following procedures:
ERCP, esophageal dilations, bronchoscopy and colonic decompensations in endoscopy. Pacemaker, Swan-Ganz insertions, acid, intra-aortic balloon pumps in the ICU and Central Line Placements. Temporary/permanent spinal cord stimulator insertions, acetabular/pelvis fixation in the surgical setting.
4. Can perform specialized fluoroscopic procedures in the Radiology Department to include myelograms, arthrograms, lumbar punctures, hysterosalpinograms, nerve blocks, epid
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
High School education or equivalent and graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :
State of Florida Radiologic License
ARRT Registered
BLS required
