Leasing Specialist - Portofino Apartments

Providence Management Co., LLC is seeking a Leasing Specialist to join our team at Portofino Apartments in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in a multi-family apartment community, knowledge of Fair Housing Laws; be self-motivated, energetic & possess strong written & verbal communication skills.
As a Leasing Specialist you will have the responsibility of:
o Conducting sales and outreach, prospecting and lead generation
o Greeting, showing/touring model apartments to prospective residents
o Processing and supervising resident applications, move-ins and move-outs
o Maintaining prospect, traffic and leasing data
o Assisting in tenant screening and processing of credit checks
o Preparing lease documentation and completing move-in procedures
o Assisting residents with maintenance requests
o Handling telephone calls and on-site traffic
o Assisting with marketing to include preparation of flyers, newsletters and market surveys
o Assisting Business Manager in all aspects of property management
Skills & Abilities:
o Strong customer service and sales skill
o Strong organizational skills
o Highly motivated and energetic
o Reliable transportation a must
o Flexibility to work weekends
