Senior Cyber Security Engineering Specialist
Job Description:
The Senior Cyber Security Engineering Specialist will support the Engineering division in the execution of product cybersecurity elements across programs and services, including working with multiple security, IT and engineering leadership/stakeholders and technical resources to identify and plan physical and cybersecurity work to meet/exceed initiatives.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
It is required that the Senior Cybersecurity Engineer has the following
Qualifications:
Demonstrates experience leading Certification and Accreditation (C&A) or other IA/CND Compliance and Auditing processes and inspections for all enterprise systems and networks.
Demonstrates experience performing compliance reviews of computer security plans, performs risk assessments, and validates and performs security test evaluations and audits.
Demonstrates experience developing with enterprise security policies and security requirements for information protection on enterprise systems
and networks.
Demonstrates experience performing vulnerability and risk assessments
on the basis of defined sensitivity and information flow.
Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and their application to the enterprise architecture.
It is desired that the Senior Cybersecurity Engineer has the following
Qualifications:
Demonstrates experience using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Controls.
Demonstrates experience managing complex projects in the areas of cybersecurity engineering.
DoD 8570 Baseline IAT-II level certification
Must possess an active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Clearance.
Essential Functions
Work Environment
Work will be performed in a cubical environment inside a large facility. Some travel may be required depending on requests by the customer. May be required to attend off site meetings.
Physical Requirements
Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.
Equipment and Machines
General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is mandatory. Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).

Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client's standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
