Job Summary &
Responsibilities:
Raymond James is hiring an experienced FinancialServices Products Marketing Associate to coordinate, monitor and assist in theimplementation of marketing and communications plans and projects in PrivateClient Group Investment Products (PCG IP).
PCG IP encompasses several product areas including the Alternative Investments Group (hedge funds, private equity,private real estate, managed futures, etc.), Structured Products, ConcentratedEquity Solutions, Equity Options, Mutual Fund Research and the Raymond JamesInsurance Group.
The ideal contributor will:
Assist with automationefforts using Microsoft Excel Macros, Microsoft VBA, and any other scripting ordatabase languages that may be useful to enhance processes.
Workin a dynamic team environment to coordinate marketing campaigns, build andexecute on communication plans, use graphic design software to create andupdate advisor and client collateral, and, among other things, coordinateconferences and events.
Work closely with PCG IP marketing team members and product center subject matter experts to ensure marketing efforts are coordinated, consistent, and relevant to the individual product centers, PCG IP as a whole, and the firm.
Performa variety of tasks using a high level of professionalism, appropriatetimeliness, and the ability to self-manage responsibilities and goals.
Recommendsolutions to moderately complex problems and have regular contact with internaland external customers in order to obtain, clarify or provide facts andinformation.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinate directly with subject matterexperts in the product centers to ensure their marketing needs are met.
Organize,manage, and execute on objectives with limited oversight, a strong attention todetail, a high level of professionalism, and with appropriate timeliness.
Driveefficiencies and improve marketing processes. Review existing processes andprocedures on a regular basis to determine if enhancements are possible.
Workwith other PCG IP marketing professionals, other departments in the firm (e.g.,Marketing Services) and outside organizations to adopt best practices.
Developand maintains extensive product and compliance knowledge of all productscovered by PCG IP, which is required to successfully support product centermarketing needs and strategic marketing objectives of PCG IP.
Assistin implementing marketing strategies by coordinating the creation andproduction of marketing and communications materials, including reviewingspecifications and acting as a liaison with outside parties.
Overseethe distribution of marketing literature.
Conductbasic marketing research and compile results for projects, as assigned.
Performother duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledgeof:
Principlesand practices of customer relations, marketing and communications.
Fundamentalinvestment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
Basic investment with the ability to become well-versed in the wide range of investments strategies and products represented by PCG IP, including but not limited to, hedge funds, private equity, private real estate, managed futures, structured products, insurance products, options, mutual funds, and concentrated equity strategies.
Skillin:
Self-reviewingwork with a strong attention to detail.
Strongskills in organizing, managing, and executing on objectives with limitedoversight, a strong attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism
Technicaland creative writing; impeccable grammar is a must.
Coordinatingmarketing and communication projects and activities.

Useor quickly become proficient in advanced features of Microsoft Excel (e.g.v-lookups, pivot tables, and macros) and Microsoft VBA.

Workindependently and manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
Providea high level of customer service.
Understandbasic database and technology concepts and terms.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in business, finance, marketing ora related field and a minimum of three (3) years of marketing or sales supportexperience in the financial services industry preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:
FINRA Series 7strongly desired.
Chartered AlternativeInvestments Analyst (CAIA) (desired or a willingness to obtain).
