Armstrong World Industries (AWI) has a job opportunity for a Full Line Sales Representative to be located in Tampa, FL. Covering the Southwestern coast of Florida from Tampa to Naples, the Full Line Sales Representative will interact with architects, distributors, contractors, owners, and facility managers to influence the specification and purchase of Armstrong commercial ceiling systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Full Line Sales Representative:
Achieving goals in sales volume, mix, new products, and pricing
Influencing people who make buying/selling decisions and have a positive influence on others' behavior
Assisting architects/designers in selecting Armstrong products based on project needs and writing specifications for Armstrong commercial ceilings, grid, and wall systems with an emphasis on gaining competitive advantage
Keeping architects/designers updated on new Armstrong products through one-on-one and group presentations
Developing and maintaining productive relationships with key distributor, contractor, and Armstrong personnel
Tracking projects to establish plans for selling Armstrong products in these buildings
Working with customers to comply with Armstrong specifications
Responsible for growing the business increasing/maintaining market share by creating customer value and competitive advantages
Effectively utilizing Armstrong job tracking software (currently Salesforce.com) to track projects through the construction process
Required Qualifications for the Full Line Sales Representative:
Bachelor's degree in business discipline or related field

years of sales experience
Working knowledge and experience with construction, contracting, and distribution, specification sales, commercial building products, and knowledge of market segments, customers, and distribution channels
Experience with Salesforce
Demonstrated ability and experience to effectively manage multiple relationships and priorities
Demonstrated ability and experience to plan effectively, short and long term
Must be proficient in working with Microsoft Windows applications
Demonstrated experience/success in architectural selling
Desired Qualifications for the Full Line Sales Representative:
USGBC LEED Professional Certification
